About The Ramblers Association

Wight Sole is part of The Ramblers' Association Isle of Wight Area. There is a another group on the island which caters for the traditional ramblers.

The Ramblers' Association is a registered charity which support and promotes walking of all kinds both in the England and abroad via Ramblers Holidays.

Local groups throughout the country arrange and lead walks for all ages and abilities. These groups also help to maintain the local paths, reporting problems to land owners, repairing styles and improving access.

As well as the numerous local ramblers groups, the central Ramblers work nationally to increase access for walkers, protect the countryside and promote walking.
