DescriptionMap
28/8/05 - On another glorious day, we started above Blackgang, and headed along the coast towards Ventnor. Pausing for a snack break, we were entertained by the power boats racing round the island on a mill pond sea (on the way to a new record). Turning inland at the aptly named Steephill, we made our way up Stenbury Down for a lunch spot with glorious views over to St Catherines. Down into the valley passed the Manor and up the other side onto St Catherine's Down by Hoy's Monument. Finally back along the Down with more lovely views along the coast to the Needles.
