DescriptionMap

7/1/07 - A large group met at Shanklin station to test the robustness of their boots. Setting out north towards Ninham, we followed numerous wet rivers down hill, passing Sandown Airport and the Austin rally, before heading uphill into Borthwood Copse to see the Owl Sanctuary. Turning south, passed Apse Heath and into America wood for more glorious mud (a worthy challenger to this time last year). Finally turning east back towards Shanklin and then home for a lovely soak in the bath.
