DescriptionMap

29/4/07 - 17 walkers squeezed their cars in and around the Shanklin Old Church car park in the fine weather. Starting as we meant to go on, we headed immediately uphill, eventually reaching the top of Shanklin Down before continuing straight back down again to the outskirts of Wroxall. Turning uphill again, we made our way up into Wroxall Copse for a well earned quick break among the garlic and bluebells. Contouring round (yippee!) Wroxall Down we had another quick break for lunch before continuing steeply up St. Boniface Down along the ridge and right down the other end into The Landslip. Turning north we continued along the coastal path (but voted against a detour to the beach) through Luccombe Village and back to the church via the road.
