4/6/08 - Setting out full of squirrely hope from the Parkhurst Forest car park, 18 (or possibly 19) of us heading into the woods. Passing through the firs and onto the main forest tracks we headed north, stopping for a break on a nice bench. On north again we unexpectedly came across the edge of the woods, so had to briefly retrace our steps before continuing on around the main tracks. Returning to the centre of the forest, we optimistically gathered at the hide to watch the squirrels. Unfortunately they failed to turn up so we gave up and returned to the car park and then to the pub instead. We had the group AGM in the Blacksmith's Arms.
